GVS Face Mask Sterilizer
The GVS Face Mask Sterilizer is a new product that uses led lamps with a wavelength of 253,7nm to kill viruses in only 20 minutes, allowing you to sterilize and reuse your GVS F31000 mask or Elipse P3 filters in complete safety.
Face fit test & protective face masks
Men’s facial hair could render face masks useless. Some types of beards are safe, some are not. GVS recommends to always check the fit of a mask by doing a face fit test for the respirator chosen and adjust the elastics and the nosepiece carefully to crate the seal.
FILTERS AND RESPIRATOR MASKS
GVS designs and manufactures air filters to ensure respiratory protection, which satisfies the most stringent controls and certification to the different standards required all over the world. These include the reusable Elipse and INTEGRA, the FFP3/N99 and Biohazard masks, which guarantee protection against airborne hazards in industrial environments, and in situations concerning contact with viral hazards.
GVS produces a wide range of filters for assisted breathing to use during anesthesia, intensive care, respiratory medicine and ventilation. These include HEPA filters used for pulmonary ventilators in the intensive care departments.
GVS AND COVID-19
Since the beginning of the CoVid-19 emergency, GVS has been playing a crucial role in the battle against the “invisible enemy”. The Group has been constantly working to increase the production of FFP3/N99 and Biohazard masks.
The production of protective face masks has been entirely dedicated to Medical staff and first responders and to a series of donations to the local community.
In addition to this digital education project, GVS is engaging in a variety of initiatives, such as the collaboration with the University of Bologna (Italy), which aims to test face masks for medical staff, in addition to researching the right cleaning process for protective face masks.
